Suspension and running gear carry the clearest engineering signal of any corner of the car, and they are the parts most often missing from salvage listings. This list covers the SU7 chassis stock on hand: the air suspension set with its compressor, shock absorber assemblies, control arms, stabiliser bars, wheel bearings and half-shafts.
What the chassis set contains
The air suspension is the headline: the compressor and air pump units, complete air suspension accessories, rear shock absorber airbags and individual front and rear damper assemblies. Around it sit the linkages and bearings that define ride and steering feel - upper and lower control arms, chassis swing-arm accessories, front and rear stabiliser bars, ball joints and tie-rod levers, front and rear wheel bearings, and half-shaft assemblies with their oil seals. A vehicle stability height sensor is also listed, which is the component that usually decides how a height-adjustable suspension behaves in service.

Chassis benchmarking notes
Air suspension rewards a systematic read: count the height sensors, note whether the compressor draws from a single reservoir or supplies each corner separately, and measure the damper body diameter and rod diameter - those two numbers say a lot about the load case the platform was designed for. For control arms, the useful comparison is material and construction: forged aluminium versus stamped steel, and whether the bushing is pressed in or bonded. Wheel bearings are best compared on flange geometry and whether the ABS encoder is integrated.
