This group covers the parts that convert electrical energy into motion on ZEEKR cars, plus the controllers that sit next to them in the same housing. It spans the 007 three-in-one unit at 310 kW and the 9X drive assemblies supplied with their own inverter part numbers.

How the drive side is packaged

Two packaging philosophies appear here. The 007 rear unit is a three-in-one, meaning motor, reduction gear and inverter share one housing and one cooling circuit, and it is identifiable by its KTZ-series part number. The 9X assemblies are supplied with an external controller, listed as KTZ75x65SC05, which suggests the inverter can be separated from the motor for service. Alongside these sit the 48V active stabiliser bar, which uses its own electric actuator and a controller rather than a hydraulic circuit, and the chassis and air suspension controllers that coordinate it. A seat controller also appears in this category, because seat adjustment modules are wired and driven in the same way as other actuator controllers. A brand-new half-shaft CV joint boot is listed as well, which is a maintenance item rather than a performance part.

Reading the part numbers

The useful habit on this group is to read the KTZ number before anything else. ZEEKR uses that prefix for its drive units, and the string that follows encodes the platform rather than the model year, which is why the same controller family turns up on the 007 and the 9X in different sizes. The 007 rear unit delivers 310 kW and is described as a three-in-one, while the 9X appears both as a bare motor and as a complete assembly with its controller. Cross-listing is common in this category: an item may be catalogued under power electronics in one listing and under chassis control in another, so search by part number as well as by name.

Motors and inverters are photographed as removed and are drained of coolant before dispatch. Bare motors are supplied without the inverter unless the listing states otherwise.

Failure points to check

On any motor, the first question is why it came off the car, because a failed inverter and a failed winding look identical in a photograph. Ask for the stator windings to be photographed through the terminal opening, and look for discolouration that would indicate a hot spot. Cooling passages should be checked for debris, since an oil-cooled motor that ran dry will show varnish on the end windings. On inverters, insist on the part number matching exactly, because a KTZ-series controller from a different size will bolt up and then refuse to run. The 48V active stabiliser bar should be examined at the end seals, a known weak point on electromechanical bars, and for play in the reduction gear. Half-shaft boots are cheap parts that cause expensive failures, so check for cracking before the joint rather than after it.

Availability and enquiries

Motors and drive assemblies are heavy single units. Weight, mounting dimensions and part-number photographs are available on request before you commit.
